Privacy

WordBuzz endeavours to protect your privacy as much as possible.

We will never sell or give your details to a third party (without consent from you, of course).

We do ask a few things of you, however:

  • Upon signing up to the WordBuzz service, we ask you your name and email address. These are for internal purposes only (such as emailing you about new features, changes to the site, or other such details). These aren\’t displayed publicly.
  • When entering your details for your profile, the only required information we gather is your name (and nom de plumes are fine), your home town and the state you live in. Any other fields are optional (we\’d like you to fill these out, but only if you feel comfortable having that information public). Here, if you wish to put contact details public, is where this can happen.

We collect some information automatically, as part of the service. These include, but are not limited to:

  • The IP (Internet Protocol) address of the computer you use to access our Web site.  The IP address is a number that uniquely identifies your computer on the Internet.  Without this number, our servers would not know where to send back the information you are requesting.
  • The date and time you “hit” each page on our site.
  • The page you are requesting.
  • The Web browser and computer operating system you are using to access our site.
  • The address of the site or page you came from to our site.

Please keep in mind that any information, including works or details, are in the public domain.
