WordBuzz is paused.

WordBuzz has temporarily disabled account creation for a while. A relaunch is coming, with improved features, better design, and general all-around prettyness.

Stay tuned.

WordBuzz is up… well, almost.

Hi. WordBuzz is online, though not yet complete. The finishing touches are underway, as well as some testing by my friends to work our the kinks. Things to look forward to:

  • New design. I’m building one that will (hopefully) change weekly, depending on whatever is featured that week.
  • More features.
    • Logging in with Facebook.
    • Easier to access profile related stuff (changing profile, adding events, messaging and notification, all from the homepage).
  • And a full launch.

I’m expecting to begin the process of jazzing up the site mid-to-end September, and hopefully a end of October launch.

Post WordBuzz, I’ll start working on the other Buzz sites. Next will be TheatreBuzz, but more of that later.

Despite the show going well, Steve promptly fled to Berlin, but asked Geoff to look after it in his absence. Over the next couple of shows, it became clear that the spoken word aspect was the strength of the gig, and it evolved into a straight spoken word night. Read the rest of this entry »
