WordBuzz aims to be the home of Australian writing, poetry and spoken word. We offer the tools and a place online to demonstrate your craft, discuss your work, and join a community of likeminded literaries.
We provide you with an online space to put work work in front of an interested audience, and the tools to promote your work, talk to fellow writers, poets, spoken word artists… even critics.
Okay. So, how does it all work?
Easy. Sign up for an account, so you can have a profile. Fill it in as much (or as little, for you non-de-plume types) as you like, and that way when you comment or discuss someone else’s work, they know who it is from. Also, if you like, create a blog and start putting your own work online.
But the part that really kicks? Create events. Having an open mic night? Spoken word gig? A writer’s festival? Jam up an event and start using that as a tool for promotion.
